Brow Lamination vs Microblading

The two most-loved brow services today are brow lamination and microblading. They deliver different results and suit different needs.

What is brow lamination?

Lamination reshapes and sets your brow hairs in the direction you want, making brows look fuller, neater and fluffier. It's completely non-invasive and adds no permanent colour.

  • No needles, no pigment.
  • Lasts about 4–6 weeks.
  • Ideal for dense but unruly brows.

What is microblading?

Microblading uses a fine blade to implant pigment in hair-like strokes that mimic real brows and fill sparse areas. It's a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo.

  • Mildly invasive, with a healing period.
  • Lasts 1–2 years, with a top-up.
  • Ideal for sparse, patchy or very light brows.

So which should you choose?

If you have enough hair and just need shape and fullness, choose lamination. If your brows are sparse, missing tails, or you want a long-term result, microblading fits better.

Many clients combine both over time. Book a consultation so we can assess your natural brows first.
